Athena Graphics develops own AI tool

To quickly and efficiently search huge amounts of graphics files, Athena Graphics sought a readymade AI model. It soon turned out that existing models had to be trained over and over again for each searchable image element. Impossible work, and so Athena developed its own AI tool.

Increasingly, customers were asking to modify old designs, e.g. changing a font, colour or a legally required recycling logo. Manually searching the 100 terabyte archive, however, was time-consuming for Athena Graphics.

The IT department therefore developed an AI tool that makes packaging files searchable quickly and accurately. The tool analyses PDFs without training and recognises elements. Soon, the tool will be available in the customer portal, allowing customers to easily search for specific logos or colours. This saves time and increases efficiency significantly.
