Athena Graphics invests in a second fully automatic Flex-Line 520 XP in Veenendaal

Athena Graphics has once again chosen the Flex-Line 520 XP, a fully automatic flexo plate processing system from Glunz & Jensen. After many years of successfully using these automation solutions at the site in Roeselare (Belgium), the same technology has now been selected for the production facility in Veenendaal (the Netherlands).

Marcel Weeren, Operations Manager at Athena Graphics Netherlands, explains the choice for the new installation: “We are very enthusiastic about the installation of our new inline washer at Athena Graphics in Veenendaal. This strategic investment aligns perfectly with our vision to organize the production process as integrated and automated as possible. Our ultimate goal is to offer our customers the highest quality and delivery reliability. After a short optimization period, the machine is now producing according to Athena Graphics’ pixel-perfect standard. The new Flex-Line 520 XP adds significantly more capacity and stability to our flexo production.”

This new installation marks an important step in the further optimization of flexo plate production within the Athena Graphics Group and will contribute to even greater efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
