On Friday, 19 September, our Belgian, Dutch, and French colleagues set off together for an inspiring day trip to Paris. The journey began early in the morning with a train that smoothly took us to the heart of the French capital.
In summery temperatures, the program started with a guided bike tour along the city’s most famous landmarks. Under a radiant sun, we discovered the visual richness of the city — from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre and Notre-Dame.
After lunch, we enjoyed a boat ride on the Seine. From the water, we gained a different perspective on the grandeur of Paris: elegant bridges, imposing façades, and the lively city life along the quays.
The visit continued with a tour of the Tuileries, where art, nature, and design come together in perfect harmony. The day concluded in Montmartre, the historic artists’ district, with a delightful dinner accompanied by French chansons, performed live by a pianist.
The excursion provided a wonderful opportunity to further strengthen group dynamics. It was a successful day full of culture, relaxation, and connection.
