Athena Graphics strengthens colour control with ProCure integration at Eshuis

As a prepress specialist, we combine our expertise with MeasureColor from X-Rite. ProCure serves as the central link: it digitalises the entire printing process and connects all systems, offering optimised print instructions, real-time facts & figures, and in-depth analyses via our report server.

At printing company Eshuis, Athena Graphics implemented an integrated ProCure solution together with MeasureColor and Veoria. Eshuis was looking for a way to control colours during the printing process. Until then, operators had to stop the machine, perform a colour measurement, and then restart it. This caused significant production interruptions, additional waste and time loss.

Eshuis therefore began using MeasureColor, which made it possible to check the colour bar much faster than before. With DeltaOne, the inline spectral colour sensor from Veoria, the next step became possible: colour measurement during printing, without stopping the machine. Operators now have full control over the process and can intervene immediately. Especially during long production runs, this offers major advantages:

This combination results in time savings, reduced costs and a more reliable process at Eshuis. For the operator, it is also simpler: they retain control of both the machine and the output quality throughout the entire production.
